Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies (the new name for lR Security&Safety)say they offer hardware and security distributors an opportunity to become involved in a wider portfolio of products, via the Ingersoll Rand project Referral Scheme. Within the Ingersoll Rand portfolio there are a number of products&services that are not normally supplied by a distributor possibly because the product requires specialist knowledge,OF needs to be installed and commissioned by qualified technicians.
The Project ReferralScheme enables distributors to benefit from the companies’ skills in the supply, installation and commissioning of Steel Doors, Automatic Door systems,Hospitality Locking Systems and Electronic Access Control. Moreover says the company it provides distributors with a new source of income with minimal work.
If a distributor’s customer is looking for someone to supply, install and commission any of the above products then the architectural ironmonger can act as the link between the client and Ingersoll Rand and earn a commission!
Once the lead has been provided and registered,Ingersoll Rand will contact the end-customer to discuss their requirements. From that point on Ingersoll Rand will manage the project, dealing directly with the client,to ensure the Job is fulfilled on time and on budget .At the end of the project the distributor will receive a commission payment from Ingersoll Rand for providing the introduction to the job-and will continue to receive a commission on any work from the same client for the same type of products for a period of 12 months.
Ingersoll Rand can provide a full supply and fix package on all types of Dor-OMatic automated operators, from low energy units to full high-energy automatic door systems—ideal for main entrances and accessible routes within a building
